Larry Sanders

Larry begin performing at an early age at his birthplace in the wards of New Orleans, La. His family later moved to Los Angeles where he was fortunate to benefit from the tutelage of greats like Al MaKay (Earth Wind and Fire), Billy Preston and Horace Tapscott. His professional career began to form after his arrival in San Jose where he has performed at various venues adding his personal touch, vocally and instrumentally, in the jazz, R&B, rock, Latin, hip-hop, poetry, reggae, musical theater and pop genres. He has shared the stage with the likes of Greg Karakas, Muddy Watters, Chris Cain, the Fowler Brothers and Lakeside Express to name a few. Refu, as he is known by his friends, is currently composing, arranging, recording and performing with many projects including Agents of Vision and Mambo Street.
